Crown Uzama (born 12 April 1996), known professionally as Shallipopi, is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter. He gained initial recognition with the release of “Elon Musk” in 2023. Shallipopi was signed to Dvpper Music Distribution, a Nigerian music record distribution founded by “Damillola Akinwunmi”. He is best known internationally for his 2023 hit singles like “Elon Musk” and “Oba Pluto”, the latter of which peaked at No. 1 on the Nigeria Top 100 Apple Music.
== Career ==
Shallipopi started his career making freestyles, and posting them on TikTok and other social media platforms. He made a breakthrough with the release of his single “Elon Musk”.On 20 June 2023, Apple Music announced Shallipopi as the latest featured artist in its Up Next artist development program in Nigeria. On 30 June, he released the remix of “Elon Musk” featuring Fireboy DML and Zlatan.On 7 July 2023, he released the single “Ex-Convict”, which debuted at number 6 on the TurnTable Top 100. On 11 July 2023 his EP Planet Pluto.
On 17 October 2023, he launched his own record label after signing to Dvpper Music Distribution with his music acts Zerry DL and Tega Boi.
